On-Campus Experience

The Rotman Commerce On-Campus Experience is an enriching field trip for high school students hosted at the Rotman School of Management’s BMO Financial Group Finance Research & Trading Lab.

Inspired by the popular High School Market Simulation Challenge, this experience provides hands-on learning in financial markets and trading for groups of high school students from the same class or school who share an interest in business, finance, analytics, and problem-solving.

Students spend the first two hours of the session learning through a case-based workshop on the Rotman Interactive Trading (RIT) platform, then applying what their learnings in a friendly and fun trading competition. The session concludes with a guided tour of the Rotman facilities led by a current Rotman Commerce student.

Transportation to and from campus is not included. The lab can accommodate up to 65 participants, with most groups consisting of 20 to 40 students. All participants must register in advance of the session.
