All Rotman Commerce students are assigned to one of five houses, where they can connect with peers through fun and inclusive activities happening all year round.

What are the RC Houses, exactly?

RC Houses is an initiative founded by students to help members of the RC community connect with each other regardless of specialization or year. Throughout the year we focus on helping YOU integrate with the community by hosting low-cost social events around Toronto.

How do I find my House?

Log onto the RC Portal
Click your profile icon at the top right and go to “My Account”
Go to your “Academic, Career and Professional Skills Profile”
Scroll to the “Academic Profile” section — your House is listed there!

House points

Earn 10 points for your House each time you attend any House’s event. At the end of the year, these points will determine who will be the House Champion, hold the House Cup, and earn themselves a limited edition RC Houses merch prize!

House executives

Each House has an executive committee dedicated to planning a year of community-building, fun and inclusive activities for all RC students.

Each House Committee consists of six executive members:

the House Mentor
two House Captains
three first-year House Leads (Events, Finance and Marketing)

We are recruiting first-year House Leads for the 2026–27 academic year! Applications open on the RC Portal on September 1, 2026. Please review the job postings for details and submit your application by September 18.
