Your classroom experience at Rotman Commerce will be diverse, dynamic, and challenging. Our teachers are among the most respected thinkers at the Rotman School of Management and the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Arts and Science. Your classes will be taught in a variety of different ways – from case-based lessons, to experiential learning, to guest lectures and student presentations – all of which have one goal in mind: to give you the best business education possible.
Beyond first year, our management classes are never any bigger than between 55-59 students – and many are much smaller – so that you get the chance to learn in a more intimate environment. Tutorials are offered in larger introductory classes, ensuring that you have the opportunity to interact with your teachers and fellow students in small groups.
You will choose your electives from the broadest selection of Arts and Science courses in Canada. The perspective you gain from these courses – whatever they may be – will give you a fuller understanding of the world and help you bring a unique context to your commerce studies.
And on top of all this, you can be assured that whatever you learn in the classroom will be matched by our extensive co-curricular and extracurricular programming: workshops, talks, conferences, case competitions, and coaching designed to help you make the most of your Rotman Commerce experience.
