The Rotman Commerce BCom
Bachelor of Commerce
Offered jointly by the world-renowned Faculty of Arts & Science and the top-ranked Rotman School of Management, the Rotman Commerce program educates young leaders through groundbreaking curriculum, giving our students unparalleled access to some of the world’s best thinkers across management disciplines and liberal arts and sciences. We pride ourselves in offering our students extensive opportunities for experiential learning, international study, and the development of strong communications skills.
Building on a strong foundation in business and liberal arts courses, students choose one of three specializations: Accounting, Finance and Economics, and Management. Management specialists can also pursue concentrations in marketing, organizational behaviour, and strategy. Each concentration combines career-oriented courses in management and applied economics with a wide selection of courses in the arts and sciences. This balance ensures graduates have a solid understanding of business and modern society, along with critical and analytical skills for effective decision-making and organizational leadership.
Rotman Commerce students also gain invaluable experiences through participation in student groups. Approximately 150 students hold leadership roles in 10 student organizations, where they build and exercise leadership capacities in diverse extracurricular programming, including mentorship, personal success, communications, presentation, and case competition offerings. In every aspect of the program, students are challenged not just to excel academically, but also to develop the perspective, skills, networks, and experience that will propel them to a lifetime of leadership.
