Transfer credits
As a Faculty of Arts & Science student, you may be eligible to receive transfer credits for courses taken at other universities. Refer to the information provided by the Faculty of Arts & Science for instructions on how to apply.
Once you’ve been accepted to your exchange program, you must complete the Faculty of Arts & Science Exchange Transfer Credit course in Quercus.


Are my courses eligible for a transfer credit?
Many courses at international universities have been mapped to U of T credit equivalents or exclusions.
Seek guidance from a Rotman Commerce academic advisor if you’re hoping to use transfer credits to satisfy degree or specialist requirements.
Upon receiving your conditional nomination letter from the Centre of International Experience, you will complete the Course Pre-Assessment Request Form (for RSM-themed courses only).
Letter of permission
A Letter of Permission allows students to receive a course assessment before taking a course at another institution within Canada. Letter of Permission is often required in order to enrol at a Canadian host institution.
