Students must apply to change their Program in the First Request period between March and April of their first year. Requests are not considered in the Second Request period. As such, applicants must have completed the first-year required courses by the end of the First Request Period in order to be considered.  Specific dates can be found annually in the <a href=\"https:\/\/sidneysmithcommons.artsci.utoronto.ca\/program\/important-dates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Arts &amp; Science Program Toolkit<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements for application<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p>Combined with a strong supplemental application, current Arts and Science students may be competitive for admission into 2nd year of Rotman Commerce, depending on space available in the program. The program entry requirements are as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fas.calendar.utoronto.ca\/course\/mgt100h1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MGT100H<\/a> \u2013 Introduction to Management with a mark of at least 67%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fas.calendar.utoronto.ca\/course\/eco101h1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ECO101H<\/a> \u2013 Principles of Microeconomics&nbsp;with a mark of at least 63%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fas.calendar.utoronto.ca\/course\/eco102h1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ECO102H<\/a> \u2013 Principles of Macroeconomics&nbsp;with a mark of at least 63%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fas.calendar.utoronto.ca\/course\/mat133y1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MAT133Y<\/a> \u2013 Calculus and Linear Algebra for Commerce with a mark of at least 63% <strong>OR<\/strong>\u202f&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca\/ofr\/calendar\/crs_mat.htm#MAT135H1\">MAT135H1<\/a>\u202fwith a final mark of at least 60%\u202f<strong>AND<\/strong>\u202f<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca\/ofr\/calendar\/crs_mat.htm#MAT136H1\">MAT136H1<\/a>\u202fwith a final mark of at least 60%,&nbsp;<strong>OR<\/strong>\u202f&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca\/ofr\/calendar\/crs_mat.htm#MAT137Y1\">MAT137Y1<\/a>\u202fwith a final mark of at least 55%,&nbsp;<strong>OR<\/strong>\u202f&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca\/ofr\/calendar\/crs_mat.htm#MAT157Y1\">MAT157Y1<\/a>\u202fwith a final mark of at least 55%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p>Applicants must have a minimum average of 73% between the courses listed above to be eligible for consideration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p>None of the required courses may be completed using the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.artsci.utoronto.ca\/current\/academics\/creditno-credit\">CR\/NCR option<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p>Please note that we reserve the right to give preference to students whose marks are the result of a single attempt at each course and simply completing these first-year program prerequisites with the minimum grade does not ensure that a student will be admissible to transfer into Rotman Commerce. Space in the upper years of the program is limited and based on how many students continue into the upper years of the program. The Admissions Committee will review your academic history and your Rotman Commerce Supplemental Application as part of the consideration process.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applying to a\u202fRotman\u202fCommerce specialist program<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-heading\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Apply during the first application period<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Log on to ACORN and select Academics &gt; Enrol &amp; Manage &gt; Programs&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Select \u2018Add a Program\u2019&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Enter the code for the Rotman Commerce specialist of your choice:&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul>\n<li>ASSPE2431: Specialist program in Management&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ASSPE2038: Specialist program in Finance &amp; Economics&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ASSPE2676: Specialist program in Accounting&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Confirm your request&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>If the status next to the program code changes to \u2018REQUESTED\u2019 \u2014 You have applied for admission to this program\u2019 then you have successfully completed your program application&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><em>Note that additional program codes may appear in the drop-down menu when adding a program. The three program codes listed in Step 3 above are the only three that are available for selection. If you select another code your request will not be successful.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p>If you require assistance requesting the program on ACORN please contact your college registrar&#8217;s office.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-heading\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Submit the Rotman Commerce Supplemental Application<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p>After requesting the program in ACORN, you will receive a link via email to Kira Talent to complete the Rotman Commerce Supplemental Application and pay the associated $50 fee. This Supplemental Application is a mandatory component, and you are required to submit it by the deadline provided in the email if you wish to be considered for admission to Rotman Commerce. You can learn more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca\/future-students\/our-supplemental-application\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rotman Commerce Supplemental Application here<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fees<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p>Students who are admitted as transfer students from A&amp;S will pay the deregulated <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaccount.utoronto.ca\/tuition-fees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rotman Commerce fees<\/a> from the date they accept their invitation to the program. Students may also incur retroactive fees depending on the number of credits they completed before being admitted. All Rotman Commerce students pay deregulated fees for three years (second, third and fourth years). Students are charged these higher fees starting in the session following completion of 4.0 credits, ie. at the start of second year. If a student has been admitted with 8.0 credits or more, they would be charged retroactive fees for their already completed second year at UofT. Please discuss any questions with your college registrar\u2019s office.
