This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/design\/DAGZR80m-KM\/D4sh9a6oXYVzj8bX0h87Wg\/view?utm_content=DAGZR80m-KM&amp;utm_campaign=designshare&amp;utm_medium=link2&amp;utm_source=uniquelinks&amp;utlId=hbfc4b25419\">guide<\/a> explains when and how to submit one.<br \/>\nRequests for special consideration are to be submitted for missed or late term work for RSM\/MGT courses only.\u00a0 As of May 2025, Rotman Commerce will not approve any Request for Special Consideration for participation marks for missed classes.\u00a0 Please refer to the <a style=\"font-size: revert\" href=\"https:\/\/rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca\/current-students\/rotman-commerce-attendance-policy\/\">Rotman Commerce Attendance Policy<\/a><span style=\"font-size: revert;color: initial\"> for further details.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sidneysmithcommons.artsci.utoronto.ca\/i-cant-make-a-test-or-exam-what-do-i-do\/#:~:text=FEELING%20ILL%20BEFORE%20A%20FINAL,during%20an%20upcoming%20exam%20period.\">Feeling sick before a final exam?<\/a>\u00a0 If you are not able to write your\u00a0final exam (in person or online) at the scheduled time or if you miss a final exam for reasons outside your control, you may submit a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.artsci.utoronto.ca\/current\/faculty-registrar\/petitions\/deferred-exams\">deferred exam petition<\/a>, which is a request to write your exam at a later time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/uoft.me\/CourseEnrolmentException\"><b>Course Enrolment Exception Form<\/b><\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/strong>Use this form to request an exception to course enrolment rules and\/or to request enrolment in a course that you\u202fwere\u202funable to enrol in yourself.\u202f\u00a0 Please note this form is to be used to request enrolment in RSM courses only. This form is most commonly submitted by students who need a particular course to graduate. We will consider all requests based on need for the course in question.\u202fUnless the course is required for you to graduate at the nearest upcoming graduation, there is no guarantee you will get a space. The completed form should be emailed to your Rotman Commerce Academic Advisor or to <strong><strong><a href=\"mailto:rotmancommerce.info@utoronto.ca\">rotmancommerce.info@utoronto.ca<\/a>.<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca\/current-students\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/09\/Independent-Study-Course-Form-Dec-2024.pdf\">Independent Study Course Form<\/a><\/strong><\/strong><br \/>\nUse this form to request enrolment in an independent study course (ISC).\u00a0You must\u00a0have\u00a0secured\u00a0a Rotman-affiliated supervisor before you submit your request. Once the form is completed by both the student and the instructor, it should be submitted\u00a0to<strong><strong><a href=\"mailto:rotmancommerce.info@utoronto.ca\">rotmancommerce.info@utoronto.ca<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca\/current-students\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/12\/Course-Overload-Form-Dec-2024.pdf\"><b>Course Overload Request Form<\/b><\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/strong>Use this form\u202fto request an overload for an academic session. An overload is more than 6 courses in a Fall OR Winter\u202fterm, more than 6.0 credits in a Fall-Winter session,\u202for more than 2.0 credits in a\u202fSummer\u202fsession.\u00a0 \u00a0At Rotman Commerce, the maximum course overload that may be approved is 7 courses in the Fall OR Winter term, 7.0 credits in a Fall-Winter session, 3 courses per Summer term, or 3.0 credits in a Summer session.\u00a0 Students must also meet other eligibility criteria (see request form) to be considered.\u00a0 The completed form should be emailed to your Rotman Commerce Academic Advisor or <strong><strong><a href=\"mailto:rotmancommerce.info@utoronto.ca\">rotmancommerce.info@utoronto.ca<\/a>.\u00a0 Note: This form will not be approved to &#8220;hold&#8221; courses, or for students in first or second year.<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All forms specific to Rotman Commerce are listed below.\u202f If you have any questions about any of these forms and how to use them, email us.
