We highly recommend that you take these courses in your first year.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RSM219H1 \u2013 Introduction to Financial Accounting<\/li>\n<li>RSM230H1 \u2013 Financial Markets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>RSM250H1 \u2013 Principles of Marketing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are unsure of which specialist to pursue, don&#8217;t worry. Once you have been accepted into your choice of specialist program, you can switch it yourself on ACORN between the months of March-September (with exact dates listed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/sidneysmithcommons.artsci.utoronto.ca\/program\/apply-for-programs\/\">Program Toolkit<\/a>). We&#8217;ve shown you how to do this in the short video linked here, called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=KJkQLqHZNuk\">Switching Programs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please note: if you are enrolled in any focus programs linked to the specialist, you will need to first drop the focus\/es before switching your specialist. (See the <a href=\"https:\/\/rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca\/current-students\/degree-requirements\/enrolling-in-a-specialist\/\">Enrolling in a Specialist<\/a> page for associated program codes.)
