How to apply<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Part 1:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Apply for the\u00a0conference and competition subsidy\u00a0using the\u00a0online application form<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Part 2:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Complete the reflection questions and submit your documentation (post-event) using the online application form.<\/a><\/p>\n

Application approval<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Within two weeks of submitting\u00a0Part 1 of\u00a0your application, you\u2019ll receive an email to notify you of\u00a0your status.<\/p>\n

Subsidy application approval is not automatically guaranteed. Applications and\/or reimbursement funds may be denied\u00a0if:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • You do\u00a0not follow the subsidy program’s policies<\/li>\n
  • Your information or documentation is found to be fraudulent or incomplete<\/li>\n
  • You fail\u00a0to adequately complete the second part of the subsidy application process (reflection on the main learning and takeaways) within four weeks of returning from the event<\/li>\n
  • The event does not qualify for the subsidy program<\/li>\n
  • You have already received the maximum amount of subsidy funds for which you are eligible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • The subsidy program has spent its annual budget<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If you are approved for the subsidy, you must ensure to complete Part 2 of the application (reflection questions and documentation) in order to receive your funds. Once you have submitted this information, we will process your cheque, which usually takes 3-4 weeks. When the cheque has been issued, you will receive an email to advise you that it\u00a0is available for pick up at the Rotman Commerce OISE office\u00a0(4th\u00a0floor,\u00a0252 Bloor Street W). Depending on the number of applications in the queue and time of year (i.e., fiscal year-end), processing time can take up to 6 weeks.<\/p>\n

      Applicants are required to keep all receipts for up to 12 months after returning from the conference or competition. Random audits of expenses are conducted during the year.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
