This award was established by Bobby\u2019s family and friends as a lasting legacy in his memory. The scholarship is a fitting tribute to Bobby\u2019s life and celebrates his entrepreneurial spirit and innovation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>Value:<\/strong>&nbsp;Approximately $1,400&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><br>\u2022 To be awarded to a full-time third or fourth year student in Rotman Commerce who has demonstrated an interest in entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p>\u2022 Minimum CGPA of 3.0 is required.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>Application Instructions (please read the following carefully)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p>In order to apply, students must complete the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/YJp9sa3rqQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bobby Hundal Memorial Scholarship Application Form<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>A complete application will require PDF uploads of the following (please use the file naming convention of INITIALS_ESSAY, e.g., AZ_ESSAY):<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul>\n<li>A 500-word essay (do not put your full name on this essay \u2013 initials only) that describes the following: why you want to be an entrepreneur, highlights of your previous involvement in entrepreneurship, and your future plans as they relate to entrepreneurship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A list of entrepreneurial initiatives and activities that you have participated in (do not put your full name on this list \u2013 initials only). Each year Rotman Commerce runs a competition to determine which students will receive the available scholarships. Students who receive a scholarship will have one year from the award date to register for a CFA Institute exam that they are eligible to take.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong><u><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">This will be the only time Rotman Commerce will be awarding scholarships for students intending on writing the Level 1 Exam in the 2025-26 academic year.<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>Value<\/strong>:&nbsp;CFA\u00ae Program enrollment fee is waived and exam registration is reduced to USD600 plus any&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfainstitute.org\/about\/governance\/policies\/tax-policy\">applicable tax<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time Rotman Commerce students. Your selected exam window must be 23 months or fewer before your graduation month for your bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In order to write a CFA exam, students must satisfy the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfainstitute.org\/en\/programs\/cfa\/charter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enrollment Criteria and Requirements for the CFA Program<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul>\n<li>Only students who have&nbsp;<strong>not yet registered for their upcoming CFA Program exam<\/strong>&nbsp;are eligible to receive a scholarship. The CFA Institute is unable to make any exceptions to this policy.&nbsp; <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul>\n<li>Generally, successful applicants have a CGPA of at least 3.5, and a final grade of at least 80 in the following courses: RSM230H, RSM330H\/RSM336H, RSM332H, RSM333H.&nbsp; Applicants whose grades fall outside of these parameters may be considered if they are strong in other areas of the application such as co-curricular activities and\/or related work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul>\n<li>Students who have previously been awarded this scholarship are not eligible to apply again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul>\n<li>While an applicant may apply for any other scholarship program, the individual may only receive one scholarship award in which case the most recently awarded scholarship will be applied.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>A note from the CFA Institute: <\/strong>If you are not awarded a scholarship, you will be permitted to register at the early registration price for the current exam cycle. Please await the official decision notification from our Scholarships team for instructions on registering at the lower fee. If you register before receiving this notification, you will not receive a refund for paying the higher registration fee. Note: To successfully pass the exam, students should expect to spend 200-250 hours preparing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current resume<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy of your ACORN academic history (unofficial transcript)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Please note that BOTH the Rotman Commerce CFA Student Scholarship Application Form and the CFA Institute Student Scholarship Application must be completed in order for applications to be considered.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>**Important**<\/strong>&nbsp;As only students who have not yet registered for their upcoming CFA Program exam are eligible to receive a scholarship, to remain eligible, students <strong>must not register<\/strong> for an exam until they have received the official scholarship decision notification email from the CFA Institute. This year\u2019s honouree will be announced in February, 2026 in the National Post. The student must have demonstrated exemplary leadership in both academic pursuits and extracurricular initiatives and must be of Canadian citizenship.&nbsp; In addition:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The student must be enrolled as a full time undergraduate or graduate student in a Business degree program during the 2025\/26 school year.&nbsp;<\/strong>The 2025 CEO of the Year &amp; Futures Fund Celebrations&nbsp;will be held in Toronto, ON on May 26 &amp; 27, 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul>\n<li>In order to receive the scholarship, <strong>the recipient&nbsp;is required to attend all CEO of the Year and Futures Fund events on May 26 &amp; 27, 2026. Attendance is mandatory<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>Each Scholarship recipient will receive:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div The result was the RPIA ACE Scholarship, which RPIA hopes will help bridge the existing gaps and help a new student every year.
