Students pay these higher tuition fees until they complete their\u202fBCom\u202fdegree (which may include courses taken after their program requirements have been completed). How you are charged depends on your course load:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Program <strong>Fees (3.0\u20136.0 credits)<\/strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong>You will be assessed a <strong>flat program fee<\/strong> if your Fall\/Winter course load is 3.0 credits or more. The program fee applies regardless of whether your courses are taken in the Fall term only, in the Winter term only, or across both terms.<br><strong>Example:<\/strong> If you enrol in 3.0 credits during the Fall term and take no Winter courses, you will still be charged the full Fall\/Winter program fee.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Course <strong>Fees (0.5\u20132.5 credits)<\/strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong>Students taking between 0.5 and 2.5 credits across both terms (e.g. Fall and Winter sessions) are charged on a <strong>per-course basis<\/strong>. When a course is added, the course fee is charged immediately. When you cancel courses, refunds, if applicable, are calculated based on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.registrar.utoronto.ca\/fees-payments\/refund-schedules\/\">refund schedule<\/a>.<br><strong><br>Important<\/strong>: Students assessed on a per-course fee basis should be aware that F and Y courses cancelled after the September enrolment deadline will still count toward their tuition fee course load calculation. As a result, adding additional courses later in the year may increase the assessed course load to 3.0 credits or more and trigger a change from course fees to the program fee. Students are strongly encouraged to consult with a <a href=\"https:\/\/rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca\/current-students\/academic-support\/academic-advising\/\">Rotman Commerce Academic Advisor<\/a> before making enrolment changes.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Summer fees:<\/strong> Summer session fees are calculated on a course fee basis. F and Y courses are counted based on your enrolment status at the September enrolment deadline, and S courses are counted based on your enrolment status at the January enrolment deadline.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Calculation of course load for fees purposes<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program\/course freeze fee dates for 2026-27 are:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-table\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>September 21, 2026<\/td><td>Program\/course fee freeze date (F and Y courses). Any F and Y courses cancelled after this date will still be counted for accurate tuition assessment.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-table\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>January 24, 2027<\/td><td>Program\/Course fee freeze date (S courses). Students will see these fees posted to their financial account once they accept an invitation to a Rotman Commerce specialist program in&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.acorn.ca\/\">ACORN<\/a>.
