For many of our students, studying abroad is a life-changing experience. Spending a semester, a full year, or a summer abroad can deepen your understanding of business and offer an inspirational change of perspective. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

As a Rotman Commerce student, you can go on a semester or year-long exchange at one of our many partner universities around the world. Or you could choose to take a three to six week long course through the Summer Abroad program, which offers a number of courses \u2014 including ones in commerce \u2014 every summer in various locations around the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Where can I go? <\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n

Rotman Commerce students have access to approximately 170 partner institutions in over 40 countries. Where you study depends largely on whether you choose to do an international exchange or if you choose to take a course through the Summer Abroad program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

International Exchange Programs<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

U of T\u2019s Centre for International Experience<\/a> (CIE) will help you organize your exchange program<\/a>. You\u2019ll work with a Rotman Commerce Academic Advisor, the CIE, and the partner institution you choose to attend to ensure that you get transfer credits for the coursework you complete while abroad. In addition, the CIE can help you out with resources for housing and provide information on financial aid for which you might be eligible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Summer Abroad Program<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n

If you participate in U of T\u2019s Summer Abroad program, you\u2019ll complete a U of T course, taught by a U of T instructor, in a location relevant to the course topic. Each year, a number of commerce courses are offered, but many Rotman Commerce students also choose to complete Arts & Science courses, such as a second language, or a political science or history course through the Summer Abroad program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

While the choice to study abroad is a personal one, taking advantage of international study opportunities can be one of the most memorable parts of your time at university.
