RC Start Up is an all-inclusive program that runs during the summer before you start classes. It is designed to support and prepare you as you transition from high school to university, incorporating Rotman Commerce’s Academic Advising and Student Life Offices, along with the Faculty of Arts & Science’s Arrive Ready summer series. We understand that adjusting to a new environment, a new city and a new learning style can take time, which is why we encourage your active participation. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Registration will open in June and all students who have accepted their offer will be invited by email. Check back throughout the spring for updates. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Meet other incoming Arts & Science students and stay on top of your first-year planning during weekly webinars hosted by the Arrive Ready mentor team. Gain valuable insights on how to make the most of your first year with clubs, study groups, research opportunities, experiential learning and on-campus jobs \u2013 all key ways to build your academic and work experience, make friends and explore your interests on campus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Some webinars will also be co-hosted by faculty and staff. These sessions are open to all incoming first-year students in the Faculty of Arts & Science. You are welcome to drop in at any time and stay for as long as you would like during the session. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Get ready to confidently plan your first year! In this session, you\u2019ll learn everything you need to successfully enrol in your Rotman Commerce courses and build your schedule.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

We\u2019ll guide you through degree and specialist requirements, highlight required and recommended courses, and introduce First Year Learning Communities (FLCs). You\u2019ll also meet the RC Academic Services team and discover the wide range of resources available to support your academic success.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
